A North Carolina native and LA transplant, Luke Stoddard attended Elon University with a major in Cinema & Television Arts and a minor in Art. Within his first semester, he created the pilot episode for his first reality show, Reality Room, in the Fall of 2018. The show was green-lit and production began in the Fall of 2019. He has been awarded Elon Student Television’s Producer of the Year in 2021 for his work on Reality Room and its spin-off, Reality Room: Battle Royale.

Luke’s love for reality television began with CBS’s summer hit, Big Brother. After watching seasons from around the world, he knew that this was something he wanted to be involved in. In order to best prepare for a future in unscripted, he began watching and studying shows from a wide variety of genres and global markets to generate an encyclopedic-like knowledge of industry programming. His dream job is to be a story producer on a competitive reality show like Big Brother, Survivor, or MTV’s The Challenge, and eventually, produce his own competition reality show.

In addition to reality television, Luke also has a love for art. His focus is mostly based in sculpture, ranging from small abstract pieces, to furniture design, to ceramics. In addition to this, he is interested in architecture and design, as well as clothing design. To utilize this knowledge, he has worked as a production designer and set decorator on several music videos, live productions, and short films. He hopes to one day be able to put his outlandish design style to work and design houses for reality shows.

After living and working in Los Angeles in the Fall of 2021, Luke decided to move to LA immediately after graduating from Elon University in May of 2022 and has since worked on CBS Big Brother and the new Apple TV show Six-Thirty.
