Right Now, It’s Like This

For Eliza Spear’s song Right Now, It’s Like This, I was brought on to work with the director and artist to design the sets for four different locations: a jungle themed bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and a western bar. I was also tasked with decorating the sets on shooting days and also acted as a production assistant when needed throughout the shoot.

This is a live streamed benefit variety show for the charity Razom For Ukraine in response to the Ukrainian war, run through Elon University official platforms. During pre-production, I was tasked with creating the initial logo and title card for the program. After this, I took that theming into the production design to create sleek and geometric stages on a low-budget in Elon’s studios. I also worked with the music composer to produce a high-quality theme song that was compatible with the show’s theme and aesthetic. I also produced the original cut of the intro to the show.
During the live stream, I was tasked with video playback and monitor control in the control room, cueing up different graphics for the screens in the studios and the pre-recorded packages that played throughout the program.

Elon University’s National Pan-Hellenic Council hosted a webinar that featured each sorority and fraternity’s history and a stroll. In addition to assisting with the production of the project, I took on most of the editing and hand-held camera work.
Sunshine

This is a music video for the song Sunshine performed by LA-based pop duo, POWERS. I created the concept, made the costumes, and edited the video.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Stroll

This is a stroll that Elon University’s AKA chapter submitted for the virtual 2020 stroll-off. I filmed and edited their portion of this video, which begins at 7:00. The strolls are my favorite parts of this video and I am especially proud of my handheld camera work and editing abilities. In addition to editing the visual aspect pf the stroll routines, I also edited the music to the perfect length and to ensure that the lyrics were clean (in compliance with the rules given to us by the sorority).
Elon After Hours

During the Fall of 2018, I acted as the package producer for Elon’s late-night talk show. Below are two of the packages I created for them. I was responsible for scheduling, planning, filming, and editing these packages.
In this package, the hosts had to bake cookies but were given no recipe, no labeled ingredients, and halfway through we gave them some surprise ingredients. This was my first editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
This package featured a collection of tweets used to tweet at the Elon After Hours hosts and crew. Like the Jimmy Kimmel sketch, the crew had to read the mean tweets out loud.
