The Beginning

For the Fall semester of my senior year of college, I lived in LA working as a production intern for Fox Alternative Programming (their unscripted department). One night at dinner, Rudy approached me and asked if I was a model, at which point I was not! He wanted to do a shoot with me to start building a basic portfolio before I went back to North Carolina, and of course, I happily agreed. We met at the La Brea Tar Pits and he coached me through my first-ever photoshoot. I had a great time working with him and this shoot kicked off my career as a model! As someone who had no experience in posing (or being in front of the camera), this was my first glimpse into the technique and skill that’s required to be a model. Who could’ve guessed that this shoot would’ve kickstarted an entirely new career path for me!
